VICTORIA LIEBERMAN
With a unique background spanning both the creative and legal worlds, Victoria Lieberman brings a practical, firsthand perspective to intellectual property law. Before becoming an attorney, Victoria worked and trained as a professional artist, gaining a deep appreciation for the creative process and the challenges creators face in protecting their work. Today, Victoria advises artists, entrepreneurs, innovators, and businesses on trademarks, copyrights, licensing, branding, and other intellectual property matters. Combining legal expertise with creative insight, Victoria is dedicated to helping clients protect, grow, and maximize the value of their ideas and creative assets.
Victoria has a JD/LLM in Intellectual Property and an undergraduate BA in illustration. Her writing is award-winning and her work on IP History has been published in DePaul College of Law’s Journal of Art, Technology, & Intellectual Property Law.
BEVERLY A BERNEMAN, Of Counsel
Beverly has worked with businesses of all sizes and in numerous industry helping protect the creative parts of their businesses. She primarily works in the areas of trademarks, copyrights and trade secrets. Beverly also has experience in Intellectual Property "adjacent" issues such as Entertainment Law, Right of Publicity, Domain Names, Privacy Policies and Influencer Law.
Beverly is a thought leader. She publishes numerous articles. For 10 years she published a weekly blog called "IP News for Business" which is a short synopsis of a recent decision or new law and includes a section called "Why You Should Know This". Beverly's blog won an award from the American Bar Association as one of the 100 best legal blogs in the USA. She also publishes articles and presents at seminars and webinars on various aspects of Intellectual Property Law.
Beverly has a niche practice that involves the intersection between Intellectual Property Law and Bankruptcy Law. Beverly has written two chapters in a book called "Choppy Waters; Navigating the Intersection of Bankruptcy and Intellectual Property Law" published by the American Bankruptcy Institute.
